Auricular Therapy - Ear Reflexology Course

Dates: September 2019 (Victoria); October 2019 (Penticton)

Location: Pacific Rim College (#229-560 Johnson St, Victoria, BC)

Penticton Location - To Be Announced

Course Fee: Early Bird $495.00;  $565.00 after March 15th

This course prepares the student to professionally practice Ear Reflexology. It is not necessary for the student to be trained as a Foot Reflexology Therapist (RCRT) to become certified. If the goal is to become an RCRT with the Reflexology Association of Canada, it would be necessary to have successfully completed the RAC Core curriculum to qualify. Linda can provide this additional training if necessary.

The objectives of this course are to:

  • Introduce the principles of ear reflexology

  • Introduce the anatomy and physiology of the ear

  • Show how to “read the map of the body” on the auricle

  • Offer a protocol to safely and professionally reflex various auricular zones and points

  • Help the student achieve the highest professional standards of practicing ear reflexology

Students Will Learn:

  • The Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology of the ear

  • 10 Master Points on the ear (TCM)

  • Auricular Taping – how to apply seeds to ear points

  • A professional technique and sequence to work the various auricular zones and reflex points

And so much more…Auricular Therapy has long been regarded as an effective and safe therapy. In 1982, the World Health Association (WHO), in collaboration with the Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion Association, established a set of standardized treatment points known as the International Standards for Auricular Acupuncture Points (ISAAP).

This course is an introduction to these points and to the protocols originally developed by Beryl Crane from the UK and influenced by Dr. Paul Nogier, a French practitioner who is credited with (re) inventing auricular therapy.

Students of this course will be provided with a comprehensive manual and workbook (2019 edition) provided by RAC.  They will be expected to complete 50 sessions as part of their Case Study requirement.  Linda will provide both the written and practical exams to her students.

If you are an RCRT, there will be 8 CEU’s assigned to you upon completion of your course.

Come join us for this exciting and effective therapy training!

Linda will consider travelling to your area to teach this course There will be Auricular Therapy/Ear Reflexology training in Penticton, B.C. in October 2019

Course fee is subject to change.
