Auricular Therapy - Ear Reflexology Courses

Dates: July 6th, 7, (Saturday/Sunday) & 13th (Saturday) , 2024

Dates: September 20th, 21st (Friday/Saturday) & Sept. 28th (Saturday), 2024

This certification course involves 3 days of in-class instruction, a written exam and a 50 case practicum requirement followed by a practical exam.

Location: Port Alberni, BC

Course Fee: $675. (includes manual and exam fees)

This 18-hour professional certification course prepares the student to practice Ear Reflexology. It is not necessary for the student to be trained as a Foot Reflexology Therapist (RCRT) to become certified. If the goal is to become an RCRT with the Reflexology Association of Canada, it would be necessary to have successfully completed the RAC Core curriculum to qualify. Linda can provide this additional training if necessary.

The objectives of this course are to:

  • Introduce the principles of ear reflexology

  • Introduce the anatomy and physiology of the ear

  • Show how to “read the map of the body” on the auricle

  • Offer a protocol to safely and professionally reflex various auricular zones and points

  • Learn how to apply auricular seeds to specific points on the ears

  • Help the student achieve the highest professional standards of practicing ear reflexology

Students Will Learn:

  • The Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology of the ear

  • 10 Master Points on the ear (TCM)

  • Auricular Taping – how to apply seeds to ear points

  • A professional technique and sequence to work the various auricular zones and reflex points

  • PTSD Ear Protocol

And so much more…Auricular Therapy has long been regarded as an effective and safe therapy. In 1982, the World Health Association (WHO), in collaboration with the Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion Association, established a set of standardized treatment points known as the International Standards for Auricular Acupuncture Points (ISAAP).

This course is an introduction to these points and to the protocols originally developed by Beryl Crane from the UK and influenced by Dr. Paul Nogier, a French practitioner who is credited with (re) inventing auricular therapy.

Students of this course will work from a comprehensive manual and workbook (2019 edition) provided by RAC.  They will be expected to complete 50 sessions as part of their Case Study requirement.  Linda will provide both the written and practical exams to her students.

Come join us for this exciting and effective therapy training!

Post-covid health protocols will be followed while we are together.**

Course fee is subject to change.
